Charlotte joined Johnson & Alcock in 2022, having begun her career as a literary scout with Eccles Fisher Associates, followed by six years as an agent at Andrew Nurnberg Associates, where she was named a Bookseller Rising Star in 2021.
She represents book club and accessible literary fiction, crime and thriller, and some narrative non- fiction including memoir, reportage and popular science. Women’s voices and experiences are a common thread across many of these works.
With a background in modern languages, Charlotte has always championed international writing and is proud to represent authors from across the world, including Argentina, Iraq, Korea, New Zealand and the Philippines, as well as all corners of the UK. Passionate about discovering and nurturing new voices from underrepresented backgrounds, she is excited to support AWW and can offer consultations and submission assessments from January 2022.
